God’s Anemometer

An anemometer is an instrument used to measure the speed and direction of the wind.

God’s Anemometer, however, measures the speed and direction of cyclists…and then, in real time, the prevailing wind is adjusted to be a headwind. Don’t believe me? Try it! On any Colorado afternoon, head out on a bike ride; headwind.

Make a random direction change; headwind.

You can change direction as often as you like, it won’t matter, there’s no escaping God’s Anemometer.

I’m NOT making this up:

The east wind carries him off, and he is gone; it sweeps him out of his place.
Job 27:21 (NIV)

You snatch me up and drive me before the wind; you toss me about in the storm.
Job 30:22 (NIV)

He let loose the east wind from the heavens and led forth the south wind by His power.
Psalm 78:26 (NIV)
