Good Use of a Smart Car

With the recent high insane gas prices, people are starting to look at saving money with purchases like the Smart Car, which has room for 2 hobbits and a small briefcase at an EPA listed fuel economy of 41 MPG.

What’s up with that? The fairly comfortable Honda Civic Hybrid has an EPA rated 45 MPG, and has room for 4 actual humans and their stuff. Even better, the diesel 2009 VW Jetta Wagon boasts 41 MPG running on used french fry grease, and seats 5 with 33ft³ for luggage.

So since the Smart Car is obviously a European joke on Americans, what then are we to do with it?

Turn it into a monster truck, of course!

The funny thing about the smart car, in the UK they get about 85 mpg, which is why they are so popular. It must be all the emissions and catalytic converter crap the US requires that demolishes what the Smartcar is capable of.
