So I was pretty terrible about taking a photo every day in February.  Blame it on being sick.  Well that’s what I’m going to do.  But I’ll just keep going.  I plugged in my papers in the some of the days.  I guess that counts.  I mean I would take photos of them…if I could. ;D

Here’s how we are celebrating.

Ava laying on the ground playing Lego Star Wars on the Wii with the controllers over her head.  When I asked her about it she was like, “Well yeah of course I play like this.  It makes it so much more interesting!”  Yep.  SO Ava!

Laney playing Lego Rock Band.  She was dancing around while playing the guitar.  It actually helped her play better. Go figure. ;D

Are you going to do Project 365?  I think it is being also being called Project 52, Project Life, Design 365, etc.  I haven’t completely decided what I want to do yet.  However.  If you are planning on doing this “project” this year I will have a line of products designed specifically for it.  I’m calling them Capture 365.  I’d rather not call it a project.  It sounds too much like something more to do in my life! ;D  My first installment is a calendar template.  You can find it in my store.

I got some things done today that, now done, are a huge weight lifted.  Some projects that needed doing, finishing.  Some ‘housekeeping’.  Not just Project 365.  So I’m feeling pretty good.  Light.  That’s a good word.  My head is clear.  Ready to face this week.

I am playing catch up with Project 365.  How is everyone doing?  Do you want some news that might make you feel better (if the answer is I’m doing terrible)?  I am completely skipping week 14…which was two weeks ago.  It was a horrible week for me.  I didn’t take any photos.  I was getting ready for the crop weekend.  I didn’t feel inspired at all…I was focusing on getting the heck out of dodge!  I suppose I could have ditched the entire project.  But the next week I did a fabulous job of taking photos and getting back into the swing of things.  Perhaps a weekend away is just what I needed!  In any case…if you had a day…or a week…or two…or maybe even a month of inactivity…it doesn’t mean you can’t pick it back up again! ;D

This week I decided to go back to this template.  I also chose to do all my photos in either black and white or sepia.  I like the effect!

I read on the kit of the month blogspot that those Project 365 back orders are being filled and shipped.  That’s some good news for a lot of people.  There were some great ideas and tips over there.  Click here for the link.

My favorite tip on there so far was this one from Laura Vegas:

i keep telling people NOT to stress about taking a photo EVERY single day … and that it’s ok to skip here and there. for the first few weeks, i was really good about getting a photo every day. but my last two weeks, i wasn’t quite so good about it. but i didn’t stress or worry about it. i just took my camera out at the end of the week, walked around the house, and snapped all my photos at once. it doesn’t make the album any less meaningful or change the idea behind the album. i’m still documenting our lives and all the little things that have gone on during the week.

I am finally alone.  I haven’t been in over a week or so now.  Someone in our family has been sick for the past month or more.  I finally sent Ava back to school today.  It felt strange not having anyone in the house with me. ;D
