Yesterday evening the girls and I were sitting at the kitchen table doing homework. Well they were doing it…I was helping. Laney got finished before Ava and wanted a blank sheet of paper. She got one and came back to the table. She sat down and put the paper in front of her and got all settled and said…
“I’m going to write something intelligent.”
Ava and I started laughing and laughing and laughing…and we couldn’t stop. And Laney is looking at us and was like, “What?” and “Why are you guys laughing?” And I was thinking sometimes Laney doesn’t understand the most simple concepts and she has to have directions and other things repeated to her over and over and OVER again before they sink in…and most of the time that doesn’t even work…but her grasp of the English language and use of “big words” is so amazing! She is always saying things like this! When she says things like this it so reminds me of Corey. She is the spitting image of him. Sometimes I think they came out of the same mold…;D
